Recently, I read these lines on a forward message.
If your income is more than your wants, you are rich. If your wants are more than your income, you are poor.
Very thoughtful. However, the irony is:
Many a times the "want" is to "generate income" and keep generating more and more income and most of the times, aimlessly.
Typically when asked about the goal of becoming rich, the answer comes : मुझे बहुत पैसा कमाना है, बहुत पैसे वाला बनना है।
"पैसे वाला बनना" has more or less become synonymous to be "rich", alas!
